Broman Cellars is a St Helena winery that makes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and Sauvignon Blanc. Bob Broman is the owner/winemaker of this high-end venture. He has over 3 decades of experience in the wine industry and previously worked for Guenoc, St. Supery, Concannon Vineyards, and Stags Leap Wine Cellars.

Mr. Broman made 150 cases of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon for his inaugural 1994 vintage. He currently produces 1,000 cases and intends to slowly increase this number to 7,500 cases in the coming years.

Bob and Deborah Russell Broman own just over 11 acres in the St Helena AVA. The property was recently planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, and there are plans to build a production facility.

Bob Broman buys grapes from a handful of excellent vineyards. These include Cabernet Sauvignon from Georges III in Rutherford and Andy Beckstoffer’s Dr. Crane Vineyard in the St Helena AVA. He sources Sauvignon Blanc from Melrose Vineyard in Rutherford.

The 1999 Broman Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is made with grapes grown on the valley floor and the Howell Mountain AVA. It is a blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, and 7% Cabernet Franc. 524 cases were produced. Broman’s 2000 and 2001 vintages of this wine are also available.

In addition to Cabernet Sauvignon, the winery also makes the 2000 Napa Valley Merlot, 2001 Napa Valley Syrah, and 2004 Sauvignon Blanc.
