Atalon Winery
Atalon Winery is owned by Kendall Jackson and sources grapes from all over the Napa Valley. Like most Howell Mountain wineries, they focus on Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Atalon’s wines are made in limited quantities at very fair prices.
Black Sears Vineyard
Black Sears Vineyard and Winery is located in the northern part of the Howell Mountain AVA. Ted Lemon is the winemaker and produces small amounts of Estate Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel.

Located on Howell Mountain, the 35 acre DR Stephens Estate is owned by Don and Trish Stephens. The winery produces an estate Cabernet Sauvignon and a Chardonnay with grapes from Hudson Vineyard in the Carneros AVA.
Dunn Vineyards
Esteemed Napa Valley winemaker Randy Dunn is the mastermind behind Dunn Vineyards. Dunn originally established his reputation at Caymus, and helped develop the style of their Special Selection Cabernet Sauvignon.
Howell at the Moon
Howell at the Moon is a relatively new winery that produced its first vintage in 2004. Owner Mark Cohen makes a single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from his vineyard on Howell Mountain.
Howell Mountain Vineyards
Howell Mountain Vineyards was established in 1988 by Mike Beatty, Joyce Sears, and Jerre Sears. Mike Beatty also owns Beatty Ranch Vineyards, and Joyce and Jerre Sears own Black Sears Vineyard.
La Jota Vineyard
In the late 19th century, Frederick Hess established La Jota Vineyard on Howell Mountain. After a long dormancy following Prohibition, Bill and Joan Smith revived the property during the 1970s. Jess Jackson is currently owns La Jota.
