Zaca Mesa Winery’s Upcoming Events and Releases

Zaca Mesa Winery has made a name for themselves producing Rhone varietals. In their latest newsletter, they announced three upcoming events. These are;

• March 3rd, 2007 – Riedel Tasting, 1 – 4 pm, Zaca Mesa Winery. According to the winery, “Reidel Crystal expert Helena Ross will be on hand at the winery to lead you through one of the most intriguing sensory evaluations of wine and fine glassware. You’ll learn about glass shapes, types of crystal, and, of course, you’ll taste all the good stuff.” For Club Members, it costs $65 per person, for Non-Members, it’s $75. Fee includes glass set.

• March 24th, 2007 – Z Gris Release Party, 1 – 4pm, Zaca Mesa Winery.

• March 31st, 2007 – Easter Etching Party, 1 – 4pm, Zaca Mesa Winery. According to the winery, this event will include “a picnic lunch in the vineyards (if weather permits!) and an Easter Egg Hunt in the vines. In the tasting room, Laureen Crisafulli, professional etcher, will be on hand to customize wedding, Mother’s Day, or Father’s Day gifts.” Club Members $30, Non-Members $40.

Maurice Car'rie Winery

Established in 1968, the vineyards at Maurice Car’rie Winery were some of the first vines planted in Temecula Valley. The production facilities were built in 1986 by Budd and Maurice C. Van Roekel. Buddy and Cheri Linn recently purchased the property. Find out more.
