Silver Oak Winery to Release Their '02 Cab with a Party
Saturday, February 3, 2007 – Silver Oak Winery is going to release their 2002 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon in fine fashion.
Silver Oak began inviting the public to their releases over a decade ago. The tradition continues with the release of their 2002 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. They are inviting you to be among the first to taste the new vintage. In addition to this, small quantities of a library wine will be released for sale.
This celebration will take place at the Silver Oak Oakville winery and will be the last event at that facility, as it will be completely rebuilt over the next two years. Winemaker Daniel Baron will be on hand to sign bottles, and artist Thomas Arvid will display a selection of his paintings and begin working on a new piece inspired by the 2002 vintage.
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., sales will continue until 4:00 p.m.
Price: $20 per tasting, includes a complimentary Silver Oak wine glass. Wine is $100 per 750 ml bottle and the allocation is 6 bottles per person.

Release Day for the Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon occurs annually on the 1st Saturday in August.
