Sherwin Family Vineyards Releases 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon
Spring Mountain's Sherwin Family Vineyards releases their new Cab.
Located in the Spring Mountain AVA to the east of the town of St Helena, Sherwin Family Vineyards is a small, premium quality producer. The winery recently announced the release of their 2004 vintage of Estate Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Sherwin Family cold soaked the grapes prior to fermentation with the goal of extracting as much flavor as possible. Commenting on this technique, the Sherwins remarked, “We feel that this has added a new layer of depth and complexity to our already lush Cabernet.”
The family has also made a number of improvements to their estate property. These include the construction of a bocce court, outdoor fireplace, and a patio that is perfect for picnics.
