Sanford Winery to Open New Tasting Room
Santa Rita Hills’ Sanford Winery opens a new tasting room.
Sanford Winery is one of the first growers and producers in the Santa Rita Hills AVA. Like many other Santa Barbara wineries, Sanford specialized in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. If you want to taste their wines, you can do so in their new tasting room.
On July 1st, 2007, Sanford Winery will open their new tasting room at Rancho La Rinconada in the Santa Rita Hills AVA. Architect Robert Mehl designed this stunning building.
Much of Sanford’s tasting room is being constructed with recycled materials and will include a stone and adobe brick façade. The structure will include a private tasting room, kitchen, two-sided fireplace, and patio.
