Saintsbury’s New Vineyard Designate Pinot Noirs

Jan. 10th, 2007 – Napa-Carneros’ Saintsbury Winery has released a new series of Vineyard Designate Pinot Noirs.

Saintsbury is known for their premium quality Pinot Noir production, and has stayed true to their billing by releasing three 2004 bottlings from Lee Vineyard, Toyon Farm and Stanley Ranch to commemorate their 25th anniversary.

David Graves of Saintsbury said, “We have been sourcing grapes from these incredible vineyards for some time now, and we felt this was the right time to show the world the distinctive characteristics of these vineyards.”

Graves indicated that Saintsbury has sourced fruit “for decades and decades” from two of the three chosen vineyards, the Lee and Stanly Ranch vineyards. The third, Toyon Farm, “has been consistently good since we first sourced the grapes in 1999,” said Graves.
