River Grove Winery 2007 Releases
Clarkberg’s River Grove Winery releases new wines.
River Grove will release three innovative wines in 2007. The winery specializes in Chardonnay, Merlot, and Syrah, but has recently been turning heads with sparkling wines from the Central Valley’s Clarksburg AVA.
The 2005 Blanc de Blanc Sparkling Wine was made with 100% Chardonnay grapes in the traditional methode champenoise style.
River Grove will also release their 2005 Sparkling Shiraz, a rare sparkling red wine. The winery made a limited amount of this vintage, and it will likely sell out quickly.
The “Portly Lady” is also slated for release in 2007. River Grove describes this wine as, “a superb dessert wine, smooth and roundy, with great legs and a moderate-to-naughty attitude.”
