Paradigm Winery Releases 2003 Cabernet

February 7th, 2007 - Oakville’s Paradigm Winery has released their 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon.

para Paradigm Winery has emerged as one of the best wineries in California. Wine Spectator chose their estate Cabernet Sauvignon as one of “Napa’s Top 50 Cabernets,” and have received similar acclaim from other major wine rating sources.

With celebrity winemaker Heidi Barrett at the helm, and a prime piece of land in the Eastern Oakville hills, its easy to see why their wine is among the best in Napa if not all of the world. The 2003 vintage is a blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc. Production was limited to 4,000 cases, and is reasonably priced at $58.

Winemaker Heidi Barrett notes, the “2003 Cabernet is a gorgeous dark ruby colored wine which shows off lovely aromatics of ripe black cherry and berry like fruit…This vineyard has been a very consistent producer of balanced wines that are blends of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.”
