Monterey Passport Weekend to be Held in February
Monterey County Vintners and Growers Association is holding their 5th Annual Passport weekend in conjunction with the Monterey Wine Auction and Gala on the weekend of February 16th.
Friday February 16th – Sunday February 18th
Monterey County’s 5th Annual Passport Weekend promises food, wine tasting and entertainment as each wine tasting room takes on a cultural identity. Nearly 20 countries will be represented as they observe the culture, food and entertainment from their selected country.
To participate, register for your passport at one of the designated starting locations. Then continue to whatever winery you desire, getting your passport stamped as you go. Each participating winery will give you the opportunity to wine a prize, as well as being entered to win the grand prize of a Monterey Wine Country gift basket (valued at over $1,500), after turning in your completion form.
The Passport Weekend is paired with the Monterey Wine Auction & Gala, which will feature extraordinary wine, lifestyle and other one-of-a-kind packages. The wines will sparkle and the venue will dazzle you at this “Denim & Diamonds” themed event. The Gala will occur Saturday, February 17 at Holman Ranch. The Monterey Wine Auction & Gala on February 17 will benefit charitable organizations and scholarship programs.
Shuttle Transportation Available: Departs Promptly from the Monterey Marriott at 4:45pm & Quail Lodge at 5:00pm.
