Langtry Estate Wine to be Served Nippon Airline Flights

Guenoc Valley’s Langtry Estate Sauvignon Blanc will be served on Nippon Airline Flights.

Langtry Estate Winery is the only winery in the Guenoc Valley AVA. Their 2006 Guenoc Sauvignon Blanc was chosen as Nippon Airlines newest addition to their first class wine selection.

The selection process for Nippon Airlines started with 1,200 wines from around the world. Held in Tokyo, Japan, the tasting was led by lead judge Katsuhito Inoue, Chef Sommelier of ANA Hotel Tokyo. Out of the 1,200 entrants, only twenty wines were selected to serve to Nippon Airlines passengers, and Langtry Estate’s Sauvignon Blanc was one of them.

According to the winery, this wine “is very fresh, crisp and refreshing, focusing on bright floral and tropical notes married with the characteristics of lemongrass in its long lingering finish.”
