Kosta Browne Expects to Increase Production Volume

Great news for anyone who loves premium quality Pinot Noir; Kosta Browne Winery is expanding production volume. They roughly estimate the 2005 vintage will yield 5,000 cases, and hope to grow to 10,000 cases with the next few vintages.

All six of the 04 Pinot Noirs released by Kosta Browne Winery in the Russian River Valley scored very well in their review by James Laube. Five of them scored 95 points or higher, with one receiving a 98 point rating.

In addition to expanding their production volume in 2005, they are adding Pinot Noirs from two of the best vineyards in California; Rosella’s and Gary’s Vineyard in Santa Lucia Highlands. These wines promise to be some of the best from California.
