J Vineyards Sparkling Wine named to SF Chronicles Top 100 Wines of 2006
Chalk Hill’s J Vineyards makes the top 100 of 2006 list.
J Vineyards own 275 acres of vineyard in the greater Russian River Valley AVA. They mostly produce sparkling wine and pinot noir, and have made a name for themselves doing just that. Recently, one of their sparkling wines was named to the SF Chronicles Top 100 Wines of 2006.
J Vineyards NV Brut Rosé, Russian River Valley
- This wine was one of the five wines selected in the Sparkling category. According to the competition, the J Vineyards NV Brut has “floral aromas, bright red-fruit flavors and tight, tiny bubbles, this wine’s a knockout. Hazelnut, vanilla and citrus zest add to the lingering finish.” The cost of $30.
