El Dorado's Holly's Hill Vineyards Mourvedre Mourvedre Mourvedre event scheduled for March.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 10th and 11th, 2007, Holly’s Hill Vineyards will celebrate the release of three Mourvedres from the 2005 vintage: Estate Reserve, Lotus Reserve, and The Classique.
Mourvedre Mourvedre Mourvedre will include a tasting of these three wines complimented with three dishes. The Classique will be paired with a grilled bacon, kale, and roasted onion pizza. The Lotus Reserve will be accompanied by shrimp in mojo de ajo. The Estate Reserve will be paired with slow cooked lamb with rosemary and chili flakes.
Tickets are $15 online or $20 by phone, email, or at the door. This is a great opportunity to taste a few wines from one of the Sierra Foothills’ rising stars.
