Herzog Wine Cellars Upcoming Events
Santa Maria Valley’s Herzog Cellars has released their upcoming events for the 2007 calendar year.
Sunday, December 31 – New Year’s Eve 2007… Ring in 2007 with us here at Herzog. Enjoy a special meal at Tierra Sur, created by Chef Aarons. Seatings at 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
Wednesday, January 10 – Candlelight Wine Tasting Wednesdays… presents “Cabernet & Chocolate” Enjoy a mid-week break with our new “Candlelight Wine Tasting” series each Wednesday evening from 6-9 pm. Each Wednesday will present a new theme, complete with relaxing music and the winery awash in the glow of candlelight. For $15, guests will get a flight of four tastes of wine, along with a small food sampling, brought to your own private table. The first week kicks off with treats everyone will enjoy….four of our Cabernets and chocolate! Please call for reservations. $15 admission, 6-9 pm.
Wednesday, January 17 – Candlelight Wine Tasting Wednesdays… presents “Wonderful Whites” This Wednesday is for the white wine lovers out there! Enjoy a flight of four of our most popular white wines, expertly paired with a savory appetizer. Please call for reservations. $15 admission, 6-9 pm.
Wednesday, January 24 – Candlelight Wine Tasting Wednesdays… presents “Hoorah for Syrah ” Come discover what makes this Rhone varietal so special. Enjoy a flight of four different Syrah and Syrah blends, paired with a delicious appetizer. Please call for reservations. $15 admission, 6-9 pm.
Sunday, January 28 – Model A Car Show … “Something Old, Something New” Don’t miss this day of celebrating something a little bit old, and then something very new. Enjoy Vintage Model A cars lining our parking lot, and then go inside the winery to taste our latest release Reserve Zinfandel! Join us for lunch outdoors with an old fashioned gourmet BBQ. No reservations required, admission is complimentary.
Wednesday, January 31 – Candlelight Wine Tasting Wednesdays… presents “Delectable Dessert Wines ” Come indulge your sweet tooth. Enjoy a flight of four of our dessert wines paired with a sumptuous dessert, served to your private table. Please call for reservations. $15 admission, 6-9 pm.
