Goosecross Cellars Released new Viognier

Yountville’s Goosecross Cellars releases their 2006 Napa Valley Viognier.

Goosecross Cellars makes its home in the Yountville AVA. In the heart of the Napa Valley, Goosecross Cellars produces a wide variety of wines. But they may be better known for their Wine Radio Show, Napa Valley Wine Radio. Instead of reading reviews, you can listen to the winemaker’s notes of this wine.

Goosecross 2006 Viognier, Napa Valley

This wine is comprised of 100% Viognier fruit grown in the Napa Valley. According to the winery, it has “Enticing aromas of orange blossom, white peach, green apple and spice. Full, luscious layers of ripe melon, honeyed pear and tropical fruit intermingle with fresh citrus to refresh the palate.” Food pairing suggestions include shellfish, pork, duck, Mahi Mahi, and spicy Indian and Asian foods.
