Firestone to open new Paso Robles facility

Firestone Vineyard is set to open a new winery and tasting facility in Paso Robles, Ca.

Paso Robles, California – Firestone vineyard has been a mainstay in Santa Barbara’s wine landscape since 1972. But on February 1st, 2007 they are planning to take the next step by opening up a high end winery and tasting room in Paso Robles.

Firestone’s Paso Robles winery will be managed by Andrew Firestone, the third generation legacy of the family. Firestone is known by America for his role in the television series, “The Bachelor.” The new location will showcase Bordeaux varietals grown in Paso Robles as well as wines from their Santa Ynez Valley vineyard.

Firestone explained, “We wanted to put a personal touch on what we’re doing here. With a tasting room, we can tell people the story of our presence here.”

The winery and tasting room was designed by architect Vladimir Milosevic. The 12,500 square foot winery reported cost $4 million to build and features terraced gardens, Masonry inspired design, an enclosed patio and a small vineyard. It located next to highway 46 near Robert Hall and Eberle wineries.
