Elizabeth Vineyards to Release new Wines

Redwood valley’s Elizabeth Vineyards to release their 2005 Zinfandel and Sauvignon Blanc.

Elizabeth Vineyards is located in the heart of the Redwood Valley wine region. They are getting ready to release their 2005 Zinfandel in April, 2007 and Sauvignon Blanc in August 2007. Here are the details;

  • Elizabeth Vineyards 2005 Zinfandel – This wine is comprised of 100% estate grown Zinfandel fruit from the Redwood Valley AVA. Elizabeth Vineyards is located 1,100 feet above Sea level, which contributes to the concentration of the dark fruit flavors. It was aged for fourteen months in 50% French Oak and 50% American Oak. Production was limited to 625 cases. $17 per bottle.
  • Elizabeth Vineyards 2005 Sauvignon Blanc – This wine is made with 100% Redwood valley grown Sauvignon Blanc. It was “sur lie” aged for six months with no malolactic fermentation. According to the winery, “This wine has a brilliant color of light lemon rind, with intriguing aromas and flavors of tropical fruits, grapefruits and citrus, followed by a long crisp well balanced finish.”
