Paso Robles’ Dover Canyon Winery is up for Best Winery Blog.
Dover Canyon is one of the forward thinking wineries, who use the wine blogosphere to engage their customer base and expand their audience. Their Blog’s main contributor, Mary Baker has done an excellent job creating a community around their winery.
The Dover Canyon Winery blog is an excellent example of a good use of the wine blogosphere by wineries. Topics the Dover Canyon Winery Blog cover, includes Winery news and events, Featured Customers, Winemaking, Cooking, Food and Wine Pairings and Popular Culture.
It is a wonderful accomplishment for Dover Canyon Winery Blog to be nominated for Best Winery Blog in the American Wine Blog Awards. But they are up against some pretty stiff competition; Annette Hoff’s Cima Collina ‘Cellar Rap,’ Pinot Blogger and Stormhoek.
Whether they win is not as important as their effective use of blogging. We are happy to have Dover Canyon Winery in the Calwineries network and wish them the best for the future.
