Donati Family Vineyards moves from Paicines to Paso Robles.
Donati Family Vineyards has been making wine in Paicines since 1998. Overall, they have been quite successful in the relatively unknown AVA. However, Donati has packed up and moved to Paso Robles.
Donati’s new winery is actually the former Mastantuono Winery. So they have taken the old, and made it new. Their “new” facility is located in the town of Templeton, right on the border of Templeton and Paso Robles, but still within the Paso Robles AVA.
The new winery is opening its doors on March 1st, and they are inviting the public to celebrate. The new address is 2720 Oak View Rd., Templeton, CA 93465. If you are in the area, drop by and check out their new facility.

Slight edit... Nothing was packed up and nothing was moved. What DID happen was expansion. Donati Family Vineyard and offices for the vineyard acres remain in Paicines. The family was able to purchase an existing winery that needed a new proprietorship... So, they bought the beautiful location, went through major restoration, and moved in. Now, interested consumers have a place where they can go to taste the Donati wines. Good News for All! -- jo
