Cliff Lede Vineyards Releases new Wines
Stags Leap’s Cliff Lede Vineyards Releases two new Cabs.
Cliff Lede Vineyards is located in the Heart of the Napa Valley on the Yountville Cross Road. Their tasting room and winery is surrounded by beautiful Stags Leap vineyards, in one of the most picturesque areas in Napa. Not to be outdone by the scenery, Cliff Lede just released two new wines:
Cliff Lede 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon, Stags Leap District
- The 2004 vintage is comprised of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Malbec and 5% Petit Verdot. According to the winery, “this brooding and exorbitant Cabernet displays the complexity, the finesse, and the elegance reflective of the Stags Leap Appellation.”
Cliff Lede 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon, Diamond Mountain
- The fruit used in this wine was grown high a top Diamond Mountain, and is the quintessential Mountain Cabernet. It’s comprised of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot. According to the winery, this wine is “a return to the initial essences of mineral and spice are perpetuated by a lingering finish that should dictate a wine to savour now with roasts or tartines, or to set aside and allow this beauty to age with grace.”
