Ceja Vineyards takes duty as host winemaking family at Mustard Festival
This year marks the 14th anniversary of the Napa Valley Mustard Festival, and Napa-Carneros’ Ceja Vineyards is the host winemaking family.
The event started January 27th at the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone in St Helena. Ceja Vineyards provided the wine for the opening event, which gave way to dancing on the Barrel Room dance floor.
The next event, appropriately named Romanitca, is set to be held February 10th at Meadowood Country Club. This Valentine’s day dinner will be prepared by Meadowood Executive Banquet Chef Ayala. It will feature a five-course menu inspired by his Hispanic heritage. Wines will be provided by Ceja Vineyards.
February 23rd is the date for the Mustard Festivals Grand Dinner. This formal event will be held at the Carneros Inn. This event will feature a superstar line up of chef and vintners. Ceja Vineyards wines will be presented with the dinner.
The Mustard Festival moves along with an event called Spice! taking place March 3rd at the Robert Mondavi Winery. This year, Spice! will feature a gourmet dinner and dance to honor Artist of the Year Lowell Herrero.
