Bokisch Vineyards 2005 Albarino recently took home Silver in the San Francisco Wine Competition. So there is much anticipation for the 2006 vintage. It is made with 100% Albarino grapes from Clements Hills and Mokelumne River in Lodi.

According to the Bokisch Vineyards website, “Our 2006 Albariño exhibits its distinctive varietal character with delicate aromas of pear, melon and mandarin rind. It is medium bodied in the mouth with a pleasing tropical lushness followed by a lingering finish.”
