Apple Hill Wine Fest Scheduled for July
El Dorado’s Apple Hill Wine Fest scheduled for July.
The 4th Annual Apple Hill Wine Fest and Red, White, and BBQ will be held on July 28th, 2007 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Apple Hill is a small wine region within the El Dorado AVA.
There are 6 small, family owned and operated wineries located on Apple Hill. These include Boeger Winery, Madrona Vineyards, Primus Vineyards, Wofford Acres, Fenton-Herriot Winery, and Lava Cap Winery. Non-winemaking sponsors include Boa Vista Orchards, Jack Russell Brewery, and Time-Out Spa.
The Apple Hill Wine Fest will be a day of tasting delicious foods paired with some excellent wines from this historic winemaking region. Reservations will be accepted beginning on March 31st, 2007. Call (530) 644-7692 for more information.
