Andrew Murray Releases New Wines

Santa Ynez Valley’s Andrew Murray Vineyards releases a new Syrah and Pinot Noir.

Andrew Murray Vineyards released two new wines for January, 2007, and they are already almost sold out.

  • Andrew Murray 2004 Syrah, Hillside Reserve – Their Hillside Reserve Syrah is made from fruit grown in their estate vineyards. This wine was aged in 100% French Oak for 23 months (50% new). “The result of this indulgent treatment is a profoundly dark and intense wine with a perfumed nose of black cherries, cassis, and toasty oak.” $47 per bottle.
  • Andrew Murray 2005 Pinot Noir, Oak Savannah Cellars – This wine was made with Pinot Noir berries grown in the La Encantada Vineyard in the Santa Rita Hills AVA. This wine has “aromas and flavors of blackberries, tar, rose petals, cola, and toasty oak.” $36 per bottle.
