Anderson Valley’s Alsace Festival set for Feb 3rd
Learn about Anderson Valley wines and meet the winemakers that the 2007 Alsace Festival on February 3rd.
More than 20 Anderson Valley wineries will be participating in this years Alsace festival. This festival is designed to celebrate Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Muscat and Pinot Blanc.
Technical Conference: $35 Date: Saturday, Feb 3: 8:15 – 11:00am Location: Scharffenberger Cellars in Philo ”Join noted speakers and a panel of winemakers for a study of Alsace varietals in a casual format designed for both the sommelier and the casual weekend wino.”
Alsace Varietals Tasting: $65 Date: Saturday, Feb 3: 12 – 4pm Location: Scharffenberger Cellars in Philo ”The Anderson Valley Winegrowers Association invites you to swirl, sip, stroll and smile as you savor the intense, delicious flavors of Gewurztraminer, Muscat, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Riesling. Our local wineries, as well as visiting Alsace producing wineries from around the world, will be offering a wide variety of Alsace varietals for you to enjoy. Local chefs will prepare a selection of delicious foods that compliment Alsace varietal wines.”
