Alexander Valley Vineyards to Release New Wine with a Series of Dinner Parties
Alexander Valley Vineyards is releasing their 2003 CYRUS with a series of dinner parties.
Alexander Valley Vineyards is celebrating the release of their 2003 CYRUS with a series of dinner parties. These events are in part to celebrate the release of the wine, but also to honor the birthday of Alexander Valley Vineyard’s namesake, Cyrus Alexander.
If Syrus were around today, he would be 203 year old. This is a testament to the age of Alexander Valley Vineyards and how they have lasted in a very tough landscape. The wine dinners will be prepared by their estate chef, Jeff Young.
The dinners will begin with hors d’oeuvres and wine in their Tasting Room. Then s special 5- course dinner will be served, paired with the newly released 2003 CYRUS. Among the dishes on the menu are Dungeness crab cakes with garlic- caper aioli and rack of lamb with CYRUS demi-glace.
