thomas and jwino, I just visited their website and this wine has 14.9% alcohol which is on the low end for Coturri's Zins. They also made 100 cases of a 2005 Primitivo which I'd like to try but it looks difficult to find.

interesting thomas, i'm a big cab guy, but i also love zins. haven't had a chance to try this wine, but will look into it. the only problem i have with zinfandel is that they tend to be high (~17%) alcohol wines. After I drink a few glasses of zin, i find myself bit drunk.

I have bought cases of this wine in 1995, 1997, 2000, and now as 2004. It has always been very jammy and rich with old-style Zin flavor. They grow it organically (w/o sulfites), so there are no preservatives or sulfite-allergy affects. I have heard that there is significant variation, because of their techniques, but I have always found it very enjoyable, especially with non-Cab wine drinkers.
