Sam Whitmore founded Whitmore Wine Company with the intention of sharing his love of wine in an unpretentious way. He uses environmentally friendly business practices and donates a portion of his profits to several non-profits.
The 2005 Fuhgetaboutit Amador County Barbera is a very limited quantity wine (only 118 cases were produced), from the Sierra Foothills. The winery’s 2004 Get Lucky Viognier is an affordable version of the Northern Rhone Valley’s classic white varietal.
In addition to Barbera and Viognier, Whitmore Wine Company also makes the 2004 Left Over Leaf Lodi Mourvedre (115 cases), and the 2004 Social Commentary Lodi Syrah (230 cases).
