Whitehall Lane Winery is located in Southern St Helena just west of Highway 29 near the Rutherford border. The winery owns 110 acres of vines throughout the Napa Valley including their flagship property, Leonardini Vineyard.
In addition to Leonardini Vineyard, Whitehall also owns Rutherford West Vineyard, Whitehall Lane Estate Vineyard, Fawn Park Vineyard, Bommarito Vineyard, and Oak Glen Vineyard.
Founded in 1979, Whitehall makes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. The winery also produces small amounts of Reserve wines. In 1993, the Leonardini Family bought the winery and made significant improvement to the vineyards and production facilities.
The 2003 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is noteable not only for its remarkable flavor and aroma profile, but also for the fact that it was the first American wine to be sealed with a glass closure called the “Vino-Seal.”

I tasted at Whitehall Lane Winery last year with a few friends and really enjoyed it. They're easy to find off of Highway 29 and it wasn't crowded when I visited. I remember liking their Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc.
