White Cottage Ranch
White Cottage Ranch is a small winery on Howell Mountain in the northeastern hills of the Napa Valley. Owners Dennis and Adele Johns produce small amounts of handcrafted Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese, and a blend of Zinfandel and Sangiovese.

White Cottage Ranch produces small quantities of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese, and a Zinfandel/Sangiovese cuvee called Ezivese. Production is very low and only totals 1,500 cases for these 4 wines.
Owners Dennis and Adele Johns are long-time Napa Valley residents, and have been involved in the wine industry for many years. Starting White Cottage Ranch fulfills a life long dream for the couple.
In 1989, the Johns purchased 63 acres in the Howell Mountain AVA. In the following years, they began planting the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese, and Zinfandel. They currently farm 28 acres of vines at an elevations ranging between 1,700 and 2,000 feet above sea level.
In addition to his ownership duties, Dennis also makes the wine for White Cottage Ranch. He was previously the winemaker for the critically acclaimed St Clement in the Spring Mountain AVA.
