Von Strasser currently owns 14 acres of vines and specializes in single vineyard wines from Diamond Mountain. The winery is located in the western hills of Napa Valley between St Helena and Calistoga.
Von Strasser’s Estate wines include: Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, Sori Bricco Red, Estate Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, Post Vineyard Cabernet, Rainin Vineyard Cabernet, Marcellini Vineyard Cabernet Franc, Reserve, Rainin Vineyard Chardonnay, Diamond Mountain Vertical, and Monhoff Zinfandel.
The Von Strasser Family spent countless hours renovating and modernizing their property. They revamped the spacing and trellising systems, and increased the size of the vineyard to 15 acres. This was complicated by the relatively steep slopes of their Mountain Vineyard. The majority of the acreage is planted with Cab, and the remainder is planted with Petit Verdot.
