Tres Sabores has been certified organic by the CCOF for over 15 years and owner Julie Johnson is the president of the Zinfandel Advocates & Producers. Alongside the grapes, olives and pomegranates are planted on the property.
Johnson has employed four different winemakers over the past several years to make specific wines. These winemakers are Karen Culler, Rudy Zudeima, Ashley Heisey and Ken Bernards.
Johnson plans to take on a larger role in the winemaking process over the next few years. Tres Sabores only makes about 500 cases of their Rutherford Zinfandel. It is a blend of three distinct vineyard lots.
