The winery also owns four adjacent vineyards including the 435 acre La Perla, 257 acre Miravalle, 120 acre Chevalier, and 33 acre Streblow (Alba).
La Perla Winery and Vineyard were originally established in 1873 by Charles Lemme. Meaning, “The Pearl,” La Perla Winery is still standing. This property contained the first Cabernet Sauvignon on Spring Mountain. The adjacent Chevalier and Miravelle properties were also established during the 19th century.
The 2001 Elivette is a blend of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, and 3% Petit Verdot. It was aged in French oak for 21 months. 2,700 cases were produced.
The 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, and 4% Petit Verdot. It was aged in 50% new French Oak for 22 months. 2,490 cases were produced. The 2003 Pinot Noir is made with grapes from La Perla Vineyard. Only 276 cases of this wine were produced.
