Rancho Zabaco

Mark as Favorite

Located in Dry Creek Valley, Rancho Zabaco is best known for Zinfandel but also produces excellent Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Gris. Additionally, the winery makes Zinfandel and Sauvignon Blanc under the Dancing Bull label.

Rancho Zabaco owns 2 outstanding Zinfandel properties in Sonoma County’s Dry Creek Valley: Chiotti Vineyard and Stefani Vineyard. This wine region has long been one of the epicenters for Zinfandel production in California.

At only 30 years of age, Eric Cinnamon is the winemaker for Rancho Zabaco. He has a degree in Viticulture and Enology from UC Davis and worked for Frei Brothers Winery prior to taking the winemaking position at Rancho Zabaco.

The winery produces several Zins including the Chiotti Vineyard Zinfandel (98% Zin and 2% Petite Sirah), Stefani Vineyard Zinfandel, Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel, and Sonoma County Heritage Vines Zinfandel (blend of 85% Zin, 13% Petite Sirah, and 2% Cinsault).
