Pezzi King Vineyards

Pezzi King Vineyards is located in Northern Sonoma County’s Dry Creek Valley AVA. The winery is best known for Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Sauvignon Blanc but also makes several other varietals.

In 1993, James P. Rowe Sr. established Pezzi King Vineyards when he bought 137 acres of prime Sonoma County land. Rowe has since assembled a talented team to tend his vineyards and make his wine. Gabriella Gazzano is the winemaker and Betto Santoyo is the vineyard manager.

Pezzi King Vineyards recently a couple of major awards for their wines. The 2004 Pinot Noir won a Gold Medal at the 2006 World Wine Championships and the 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon/Syrah blend won a Gold Medal at the 2007 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.

Red wines that are currently available include the 2004 Serracino Vineyard Zinfandel, 2003 Maple Vineyards Zinfandel, 2004 Dry Creek Valley Old Vines Zinfandel, 2002 Dry Creek Valley Estate Bottled Zinfandel, 2004 Late Harvest Zinfandel, 2003 Susie’s Reserve Merlot, 2004 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, 2002 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon/Syrah blend.

Pezzi King’s white wines include the 2002 Jane’s Reserve Sauvignon Blanc, 2005 North Coast Sauvignon Blanc, 2004 Dry Creek Valley Estate Sauvignon Blanc, 2003 Muscat Canelli, and 2004 Russian River Valley Chardonnay. The winery also makes the 2005 Dry Creek Valley Rose.
