Patz & Hall was created by Donald Patz, James Hall, Anne Moses, and Heather Patz. James Hall and Anne Moses form the winemaking team, and specialize in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Sales and marketing is handled by Donald Patz.

The 2005 Napa Valley Chardonnay was made with grapes from 5 different Napa vineyards. This wine has citrus aromas of orange and lemon with pear and vanilla flavors. It has nice balance, a rich texture, and a long finish.

The 2005 Russian River Valley Dutton Ranch Chardonnay is made from one of Sonoma County’s great vineyards. These vines are only irrigated when absolutely necessary, and produce stressed fruit with concentrated flavors and a high skin to juice ratio.

Patz & Hall makes a number of other Chardonnays including the 2005 Carneros Hyde Vineyard Chardonnay, 2005 Russian River Valley Zio Tony Ranch Chardonnay, and 2005 Mendocino Alder Springs Vineyard Chardonnay.

The 2005 Carneros Hyde Vineyard Pinot Noir has red fruit aromas of raspberries and cherries with nuanced scents of chocolate. On the palate, this is an extracted wine with overt fruit flavors of blueberries, figs, and spice.

The winery also produces the 2005 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, 2004 Russian River Valley Chenoweth Ranch Pinot Noir, 2004 Mendocino Alder Springs Vineyard Pinot Noir, 2005 Russian River Valley Jenkins Ranch Pinot Noir, 2005 Sonoma Coast Burnside Vineyard Pinot Noir, and 2004 Santa Lucia Highlands Pisoni Vineyard Pinot Noir.
