Parry Cellars
Parry Cellars produces Cabernet Sauvignon from less than a half acre of vines. It has the distinction of being the smallest single vineyard wine producer in the entire Napa Valley.

Parry Cellars is located off of Silverado Trail in the Northern Napa Valley’s St Helena AVA. Planted by David Abreu in 1990, the estate vineyard is only one-half of an acre. Stephen and Sue Parry are the owners of the property.
The Parry’s vineyard has a remarkable soil profile and contains a lot of obsidian. Named after this beautiful, volcanic stone, Glass Mountain looms nearby. This is indicative of the remarkable soil diversity the Napa Valley wine industry enjoys.
The wines are aged for 18 months in 100% French oak that is 50% new. Parry Cellars’ Cabs are made in a fruit forward style that is not overly extracted. These wines are not fined or filtered. Less than 200 cases are produced each year.
The 2002 Parry Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon was harvested at 27.5 Brix, up from 25.5 Brix the previous vintage. The 2002 has 15% alcohol, which is not uncommon for Cabs grown in warm climates these days. Unfortunately, only 130 cases were made in 2002 and they are sold out.
