Owner Frank Natsis and his family oversee many of the day-to-day operations at Omega Cellars. Prior to starting his winery, Natsis was a farmer and restaurateur. In addition to producing his own wines, Mr. Natsis also rents out his production facilities to other small labels.

Omega makes several different wines including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Zinfandel, Chardonnay, and Chenin Blanc. There are also plans to produce a red table wine and Port-style wine in the future.

The 2003 Omega Cellars Chardonnay was made with 100% Lodi grapes from Locust Tree Vineyard. This is a delightfully balanced wine with 13.5% alcohol and no residual sugar. It was fermented in stainless steel tanks and made in the Chablis style with pear and apple flavors.

The winery’s 2004 Zinfandel was made with 91% Lodi and 9% Stanislaus County grapes. It was also blended with 17% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Petite Sirah. Aged in a combination of American and French oak for 18 months, this wine has 14.2% alcohol.
