Noggle Vineyards
Noggle Vineyards owned by Michael and Karen Noggle. The property is located below the extinct Round Mountain Volcano in the northeast of Clear Lake. They are a small, family owned and operated producer of Cabernet Sauvignon.

Noggle Vineyards is a six acre property planted with Cabernet Sauvignon. During the growing season, day time temperatures can be very warm in this part of the Clear Lake AVA. But the region’s characteristic afternoon winds cool the vines in the evening.
Winemaker Michael Noggle makes fruit forward and flavorful Cabs with grapes grown on his estate vineyard. He went to school at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and has over 30 years of experience in the wine industry. Michael and his wife Karen live in the town of St Helena in Napa Valley.
Noggle’s first vintage was made in 2003 and was recently released. At $25 a bottle, it is an excellent value for such a big and complex Cab. The winery’s tasting room is open from 10am to 5pm on the weekends or by appointment.
