Owned by Oscar Renteria and Steve Reynolds, Naughty Cellars is based in the town of Napa. Renteria and Reynolds originally made the label just for their friends, but after many sales inquiries, they decided to go commercial.

Naughty Cellars produces several wines including Racy (a Cabernet Sauvignon based blend), Inky (a blend of Syrah and Petite Sirah), Sticky (sweet wine), Petite Sirah, and Syrah.

Partners Oscar Renteria and Steve Reynolds both have extensive experience in the Napa Valley wine industry. Mr. Renteria is one of the top vineyard managers in the valley, and oversees over 1,400 acres of vines. Mr. Reynolds is the owner of Reynolds Family Winery in the Stags Leap AVA.

The 2002 Racy is a blend of 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Cabernet Franc, and 15% Zinfandel. It has spicy flavors of plums and cherries framed by velvety tannins. This wine was aged in a combination of 90% French oak and 10% American oak. 648 cases were produced.

Naughty Cellars 2002 Syrah is made with grapes from Juliana Vineyard in Pope Valley (in the northeastern hills of the broader Napa Valley AVA). This wine has the peppery and spicy dark fruit flavors that are characteristic of a high-quality Syrah. 118 cases were made.
