Mueller Family Winery is located in the town of Windsor, and uses grapes from the Russian River Valley AVA. They make Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Syrah, and Pinot Gris.
The 2003 Emily’s Cuvee is made with grapes grown near the Russian River. The cap was punched down during fermentation and the wine was aged in 100% French oak (50% new). It was recently named one of the top 100 wines of the year by Wine Spectator. 1,595 cases were produced.
The 2005 LB Chardonnay is made from a single vineyard. The grapes were harvested by hand and whole cluster pressed. The LB Chardonnay has fresh apple, pear, and tropical fruit flavors that are rounded a bit by French oak aging. 1,200 cases were produced.
Mueller’s 2003 Block 11 Syrah is a single vineyard wine made with grapes grown near the Russian River. It was aged in 100% French oak. This Syrah has blackberry, cherry, vanilla, and toasted oak flavors. 499 cases were produced.
