Jack W. Schlatter owns Merryvale Vineyards in the St Helena AVA. His estate vineyard is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. These grapes are used for the winery’s Profile red Bordeaux blend.
Merryvale makes several different labels of wine. These include Starmont, Reserve, Single Vineyard, Prestige, and Merryvale-Beckstoffer Vineyards. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc are made under Starmont.
The Reserve and Single Vineyard wines are more expensive than Starmont. These include the Juliana Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc, Carneros Chardonnay, Russian River Valley Chardonnay, Napa Valley Merlot, Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, Carneros Pinot Noir, and Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Prestige wines encompass Profile, a red Bordeaux blend, and Silhouette, a Chardonnay. Merryvale-Beckstoffer Vineyards includes Oakville Vineyard X Cabernet Sauvignon, Carneros Las Amigas Vineyard Merlot, and Rutherford Clone 6 Cabernet Sauvignon.
