Longshadow Ranch Vineyard & Winery
Longshadow Ranch Vineyard & Winery prides itself on its rustic California ranch setting. John and Susan Brodersen and their family own and operate the winery. The Brodersens personally oversee all aspects. Some of their varietals are Merlot, Petite Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Cinsault, Tempranillo, Syrah, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon.
As part of the ranch atmosphere, Longshadow Ranch owns Belgian Draft horses. Visitors can take a carriage ride. The Brodersens originally moved to the ranch so that their children would grow in a country atmosphere. Longshadow Ranch Vineyard & Winery prides itself on being family friendly. The family also has a petting zoo for children and offers horseback riding. The Brodersens take stewardship of the land very seriously. The lawn and garden serve as a bird sanctuary and a protected habitat. The winery hosts many special events like music and private parties. Mr. Brodersen is a musician and once played in bands and as a studio session musician. Live music features high among the special events. The tasting room is located in the event facility, which borrows the style of a mountain lodge. Couples may hold weddings in the facility or among the vines and shade trees. The winery is open to customizing the best pricing for anyone’s budget.
For visitors of old town Temecula, Longshadow Ranch Vineyard & Winery also has a tasting room on Old Town Front Street. In keeping with the spirit of the main winery, this tasting room reflects the days of the old west. The family operates the Cowboy Bistro there as well. Patrons can enjoy perfect pairings of wine and barbeque.
