Greg LaFollette and Rick Davis are the winemakers at Londer Vineyards. Mr. LaFollette previously worked under Andre Tchelistcheff at Beaulieu Vineyard in the heart of the Napa Valley. He has also worked for Jess Jackson and at Flowers Vineyard & Winery in the Sonoma Coast AVA.
In addition to their exquisite Pinot Noir, LaFollette and Davis also make excellent Chardonnay and Gewurztraminer under the Londer Vineyards label. The Londers have planted 15 acres of Pinot Noir and 1 acre of Gewurztraminer on their estate property. The vines are situated on south-facing hillsides and have excellent sun exposure.
The 2004 Paraboll Pinot Noir is a fruit forward, full-bodied Pinot Noir that has incredibly concentrated flavors. It was aged in 33% new French oak barrels for 10 months. 417 cases of this wine were produced.
Some of the other wines Londer Vineyards produce include the 2004 Estate Pinot Noir, 2002 Immigrante Red Table Wine, 2005 Dry Gewurztraminer, 2005 Sonoma Coast Kent Ritchie Chardonnay, 2002 Gabrielli Vineyard Syrah, and 2005 Sweet Gewurztraminer.
