Kachina Vineyards

Mark as Favorite

Kachina Vineyards was established about five years ago by Greg and Nancy Chambers. They produce about 500 cases of Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Port.

Kachina Vineyards is located in the Dry Creek Valley AVA in Northern Sonoma County. Owners Greg and Nancy Chambers only use estate Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes in their wines.

Kachina’s vineyards are planted in rocky, volcanic soils in the hills of Dry Creek Valley. The local climate is quite sunny, and the property is rarely affected by fog. This allows the grapes to ripen in the warm Sonoma weather.

Their Cabernet Sauvignon is aged in toasted French oak for several months. It is a good example of Cab from the region. The grapes are hand picked and great care is taken through all steps of the winemaking process. Kachina’s Zinfandel is an excellent, small quantity wine.
