Hall Wines
Hall actually has two different production facilities; one in Rutherford and one in St Helena. Their St Helena tasting room is open to the public, but an appointment is required to taste their smaller bottlings in Rutherford.

Hall is an excellent Cabernet Sauvignon specialist that has wineries in Rutherford and St Helena. The Rutherford production facilities were opened in 2005 and are reserved for VIP tastings. This winery is located in the eastern hills of the Rutherford AVA.
The St Helena tasting room is open to the public. Owners Craig and Kathryn Hall opened this visitor center off of Highway 29 in 2003. You need to call ahead to get a tour of the winery.
Kathryn Hall comes from a family of grape growers and originally developed here love of wine and viticulture working at her parent’s vineyards in Mendocino. Along with her husband Craig, Kathryn owns five distinct properties that produce grapes for Hall’s wines.
The Hall Estate Vineyard surrounds their St Helena winery off of Highway 29. It is planted with 14 acres of predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon. There is also a little bit of Merlot, Malbec, and Petit Verdot.
Sacrashe Vineyard is located in the eastern hills of Rutherford around Hall’s VIP tasting room. This is beautiful piece of property that grows some truly remarkable grapes. Soils are made of sandy-loam and volcanic ash. Situated at 780 feet above sea level, the vines are usually above the morning fog that regularly blankets the Napa Valley floor.
T-T Vineyard is in the eastern hills of Alexander Valley in Northern Sonoma County. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Sauvignon Blanc vines are planted on sunny slopes between 400 and 1,100 feet above sea level.
Napa River Ranch Vineyard is off of Silverado Trail north of the town of Napa in the Oak Knoll AVA. This large vineyard is planted with 185 acres of vines in gravel, loam, and clay soils near the Napa River.
In 2004, Hall bought Hardester Ranch from St Supery Vineyards. This 254 acre property is in the secluded Pope Valley in Northeastern Napa County. 140 acres are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Sauvignon Blanc.
