Ray and Loretta Falkner established Falkner Winery in 2000. The tasting room and production facilities are located in an impressive building that has sweeping views of Temecula Valley.

Falkner Winery is located in the Temecula AVA. After retiring from their respective careers, Ray and Loretta Falkner established their winery to pursue their life-long passion.
Winemaker Steve Hagata produces wines in a fruit forward, approachable style that is delightful with food. He makes several single varietals including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, and Riesling. Additionally, he produces a Port-style wine and 2 sweet wines called Luscious Lips (red) and Sweet Loretta (white).
The Falkner Amante is a red cuvee made in the “Super Tuscan” style. A marriage of Italy and France, it is a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. Hagata also makes a Meritage blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc.
The property also contains a gift shop, beautiful picnic area, and a restaurant named Pinnacle. Chefs Dennis van Rumund and Cory Chung specialize in Mediterranean food that goes great with Falkner’s wines.

Im a big fan of their '03 Meritage. Great example of a big fruit forward Cab blend. Excellent balance with a nice finish.
