Everett Ridge Vineyards & Winery has a long history that dates to the 19th century. Everett A. Ridge bought his land in 1875 and built the property’s original winery in 1887. Mr. Ridge transported the materials he used for the stone masonry in a wagon from nearby Mill Creek.
The winery currently produces 4,500 cases of wine each year with several different varietals. These include Syrah, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, and a Port-style wine made with Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The 2002 Everett Ridge Dry Creek Valley Estate Cabernet Sauvignon was made in limited quantities (411 cases were produced). At under $25, this is a well-priced wine that is made with organically farmed grapes.
The 2002 Estate Zinfandel is another very well-priced wine that offers excellent value. This is a serious wine that Zinfandel fans will love. It has delicious black fruit flavors with an exquisite layer of spice throughout. 1,600 cases of this wine were produced.
