Edmeades Estate Winery is owned by Kendall-Jackson and sources grapes from all over Mendocino County. They are best known for their Zinfandel production from the Mendocino Ridge. Edmeades buys grapes from Zeni and Alden Vineyards for their two outstanding Zins from the AVA.

Two of the winery’s Zinfandels are sourced from Mendocino Ridge Vineyards. The Edmeades Zeni Vineyards Zinfandel comes from 1 of the 3 remaining old-vine vineyards.
The Zeni Family planted this exquisite vineyard generations ago and it is still owned and operated by members of the family. The Edmeades Alden Vineyards Zinfandel is sourced from 1 of the 3 vineyards that were planted in the last 25 years.
The Edmeades 2003 Mendocino Zinfandel is a jammy Zin with dark fruit flavors and a hint of licorice. It is a tasty, affordable example of a Mendocino Zinfandel.
Edmeades also makes an excellent Petite Sirah that does justice to this robust varietal. It has flavors of plums and spice framed by assertive tannins. This is the type of wine that turns heads at tastings.
